This little naive work is popular in many households. It is refined and kind of light at the same time. You can use it as a Where is Wally poster and learn how to look for little details in a 'bigger picture'. Winter Fun is something we all like and have a certain hunger for.

Biography Marie Louise Batardy
This Belgian artist (Brussels 1943) did not start painting until she was thirty. Before that, she spent time in Argentina and worked as a house lady for various companies. Her paintings are often scenes drawn in a childish way. Her work was purchased by the Belgian royal family and among many others. She has exhibited at the Musee d'Art Naif in Paris and the Gana Gallery in Tel Aviv. Naïve art is characterized by a refreshing innocence and the charming use of bright colors, child-like perspective and idiosyncratic scale. It portrays simple, easily-understandable and often idealized scenes of everyday life. This work, we have for sale here, is a typical winter scene where the pleasure is splashed.
