Biography Clemens Briels

Briels (Son, 1946) is a Dutch visual artist. In 1965 he starts training at the Academy of Industrial Design in Eindhoven. He started his career in the advertising world as an art director. In 1992 he threw himself into artistry. His works of art have since been included in various renowned art collections. Clemens Briels was the first Dutch artist to be elected “Official Olympic Artist” for the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, including this work.
