Biography of Tage Hansson (1889-1968)

Tage Hansson dedicated his career to both studying and teaching art. He began his education in Malmö and continued his studies in Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Paris. After twenty years of learning, he became a teacher at the Skåne Painting School in Malmö in 1927, where he remained until 1965. It appears that his son, Bengt, succeeded him that same year, taking on a teaching role at the school.
