Biography Sjoerd Visser

Sjoerd Visser (Amsterdam 1900 - Assen 1972) was a self-taught colourful painter, sculptor, etcher, watercolourist and draftsman of street scenes, interiors, cityscapes, animal and figure representations. Visser was born in Amsterdam and died at the age of 72 in Assen. He was a member of the artists' association De Stuwing.
