Biography Bruno Pedrosa
Bruno Pedrosa (Cedro (Brazil) 1950 -) began his Arts in 1967. In 1968 he moved to Rio de Janeiro where he graduated in Fine Arts, Archaeology and Philosophy. In 1970 he had his first international solo show, at New Forms gallery, New York.
The early eighties took the artist towards abstraction. Pedrosa uses all the means at his disposal for research, ranging from drawing to painting and sculpture. During the nineties Pedrosa moved to Europe and continued his research on colour through glass, bronze, paper, iron, silver and marble. Since the beginning of the 90s the artist resides in Italy.
